Details

Stop Services

Stop and disable all services starting with furemcape*. With systemd you can run these commands (as root):

systemctl stop furemcape*
systemctl disable furemcape*

Delete Files

Delete the following files/directories:

  • /etc/systemd/system/furemcape-*

  • /etc/default/furemcape (or /usr/local/etc/default/furemcape)

  • /etc/furemcape.yml (or /usr/local/etc/furemcape.yml)

  • /usr/local/bin/furemcape-*

  • /usr/local/src/furemcape

  • /usr/local/virtualenvs/furemcape

This will remove all Furem Cape config files, executables, source code, and Python virtual environment.

Drop Databases

Drop the hitdb and issuedb databases from your PostgreSQL server, as well as the hitdb and issuedb users. If you installed the databases on your local host, you can run the psql client as the PostgreSQL server root user (postgres) like this:

sudo -u postgres psql
# or `su -c psql postgres` as root

And then run the following commands in the psql client to drop the databases and users (if you used the default database settings):

DROP DATABASE hitdb;
REASSIGN OWNED BY hitdb TO postgres;
DROP OWNED BY hitdb;
DROP ROLE hitdb;

DROP DATABASE issuedb;
REASSIGN OWNED BY issuedb TO postgres;
DROP OWNED BY issuedb;
DROP ROLE issuedb;
